Sarah Lennon went to see a local function band back in 2005, The Fallen, She enjoyed them so much that she started to follow them about and tried to get to as many gigs as she could.
Over the course of the next few months Sarah made friends with the band and 14 years later she is still going to see them when she can.
Around May 2018 Sarah decided to rock up one night to The Marine in Saltburn where they were playing. She took her camera and tried her hand at photographing them.
"I’ve always had a love for taking photos and going to see live music so thought I’d try combining the two and see how I got on"
From that night on Sarah was hooked, it helped that the band loved the photos too. In the last year Sarah has had the pleasure of photographing a fair few bands, some well known ones at that, included in that are Status Quo, UB40, Dodgy, Deever, Paul Carrack and Ryan Hamilton and The Harlequin Ghosts. Along with those Sarah has shot some local bands and tribute festivals which she has thoroughly enjoyed!
"To be able to put my 2 favourite hobbies together is brilliant"
Sarah is always looking for more opportunities to help build up her experience so if you require a photographer within the North East area then please get in touch.
